Former President Donald Trump has started his run to be the Republican Party Nominee for president. Trump has won two states’ votes in the primary stages. Trump’s massive stretch in voters versus the other politicians he’s running against has convinced some candidates to drop out of the race. Florida governor DeSantis was a former runner in the election and due to Trump’s win in Iowa, he believes he has failed his presidential campaign. Due to either Trump’s popularity vote or his own mistakes, he dropped out of the Republican race over this past weekend.
With the same issue of Iowa’s big stretch, another candidate dropped out of the election. Businessman Vivek Ramaswamy dropped out of the 2024 presidential race Monday night after a disappointing showing in the Iowa caucuses. After his dropout, he endorsed former President Trump and urged Haley to drop out of the primary.
On August 1, 2023, a grand jury indicted Trump on four charges of not only convincing Americans to raid the capital but also defrauding the United States under Title 18 of the United States Code.
