Award winning artwork from the Port-Aransas Art Show

FB art students gave it their all at the Port-Aransas Art Center Sunday, December 8th. It was an amazing show!

Each year, students in grades 6 through 12, from Flour Bluff ISD, Port Aransas ISD, and Seashore Middle Academy exhibit what they have learned from their art teachers.

Judges review student works of art and award 1st, 2nd and 3rd places, Honorary Mention, and Best of Show. This is always a tough show to judge because the art is always amazing!

FBHS swept the awards including “Best of Show” and two 1st and 2nd place awards given in the same grade level; the first time ties have ever been given at this show.

With over 40 students participating, this is a huge accomplishment. Their artwork is outstanding! Artwork is currently on display at the Port Aransas Art Center through December. The art will be on display at the high school when we return from break.
