Madisyn says her biggest accomplishment is making the varsity tennis team as a freshman. I asked her if she was surprised and her response was “well, for tryouts the way we did it was you had to play against every other person trying out. I won all my matches against everyone I played so I got a guaranteed spot on varsity. I wasn’t very surprised but I was so proud of myself and how hard I worked for that spot.” I also asked her what some of her favorite parts about playing varsity was “On varsity I surround myself with people who I can look up to and people I can trust. My teammates helped me through my hardships and struggles and they have become my family.”
