Jaydn Lira, junior, comes from Austin and is big on softball, because of her family and their special history. When asked why she is a big fan of softball and baseball, she said “My dad played for Round Rock Express, and the Astros when they were a minor league, and coached a league called LBA.” She also played club softball her whole life, but stopped recently. She stated, “I played for so long, and I was just ready to try something new in my life.”
